The Tragedy of Flight 93
On September 11, 2001 forty passengers and crew lost their lives on a United Airlines 757 Boeing jet, Flight 93. It happened in Stoney Creek Township near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. At 10:06 A.M., the jet plunged from the sky into a rural field, caused by the 9-11 high jacking. Forty passengers on the plane decided to fight back against the hijackers under extreme circumstances, diverting another catastrophe somewhere else in the United States. These passengers are listed in the history books as heroes.

Thank you.
The author and his daughter, Andrea, visited Fallingwaters, at Mills Run, Pennsylvania. Frank Lloyd Wright designed this home in accord with Wright’s desire to place the residents close to nature, with water running under part of the building. At the same time, he incorporated his cantilever designs show in the picture. Andrea took pictures of this famous home for one of her projects at the Arts Institute of Pittsburgh.

The author’s wife was dog sitting her son’s greyhound dogs, Ben and Alice. They are surprisingly gentle and they existed in the 5th century BC. When owners used them for racing, they can reach speeds up to 45 MPH. Unfortunately, most greyhounds are put to sleep, once their racing career ends.
